Infants Class 

 

Babies in the infant classroom receive the highest social and emotional support from the teacher as she strives to build positive trusting relationships with both the children and their families. The teacher also provides the infants with her full attention during care giving routines such as feeding, diapering, and tummy time.

 

One Year Old Class 

 
 

Toddler in the one year old classroom are learning how to explore their environment. They begin to  do things on their own such as eating with their fingers, helping to dress themselves and turning the pages of a storybook. Toddlers at this age should begin to use a few everyday items correctly, including a spoon, telephone, and hairbrush.

VPK-Fours

The two olds program provides an environment where the children can explore their surroundings and develop new abilities like potty training and pretend play. With language being the most exciting development at this age, we focus on speech expansion. The teachers provide activities that are tailored to individual needs, talents and interests of each child.

The three-year-old program is structured to enhance each child’s self-esteem and individual development. The teachers place an emphasis on learning to share, respect others, and to further develop language skills. Activities are structured around science, arts, math, music, crafts, movement, stories and games.

Our Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) "Sailfish" class prepares 4-5 year old children for Kindergarten. The teachers reinforce the skills needed for success when they leave the program for kindergarten. Our small class size allows for more individualized attention for each student.
